It's a FET based distortion, our most amp-like gain pedal yet, based around 3 MOSFET amplifier stages for all of its clipping and saturation. Designed to take a clean amp all the way to death metal distortion, it features a ton of gain, a ton of pick attack, deep EQ controls, clean blend, and we cooked up a slick noise gate for it too.

The second stomp switch adds a Boost mode, increasing both the volume and the gain when engaged.
The circuit is original but we did include a couple 'tips of the hat' to the legends of extreme tone that came before it, like gyrator EQ stages for powerful frequency shaping (homage to the HM2), and the Grind control, a silicon NPN transistor rectifier stage that blends in a meaner, harsher tone (homage to the FZ2).
And just for fun, the yellow LED torch lights flicker red with the input signal. The circuit has power supply protection, all film caps in the signal path, relay based switching that remembers the stomps states, has been a year in the making and really is our love letter to extreme heavy metal tones.
